Where the facts come from
Venue facts come from Great Blue Heron Casino & Hotel and its operator, Great Canadian Entertainment. That covers the hours, the 19+ entry rule, the hotel, The Nest and the restaurants. Town facts, from the plaques on Queen Street to the Waterfront Trail, come from the Township of Scugog.
This guide describes Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation in their own words, taken from their own pages and from their community book. Two items come from the Township instead: the date of the MSIFN Powwow and the Township's land acknowledgement.
